The annual awards program honors outstanding women and minority business owners in Maryland, Virginia,

Delaware and the District of Columbia.

The University of Maryland University College (UMUC), Southwest Airlines, the Maryland The Parren J. Mitchell Foundation and the Governor's Office of Minority Affairs are this year's host organizations. 

The awards program will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 3 pm-6 p.m. at UMUC's Marriott Inn and Conference Center in Adelphi, Maryland. (directions)
